Photo rules, visibility, and private access

Understand public-photo rules, sensitive-content controls, and private albums.

Last reviewed

A public photo, a private-album photo, and sensitive-content eligibility are different things. Where you put a photo does not override Chunkr’s content rules.

Public photos

Choose public photos that meet the Acceptable Use Policy and Community Guidelines. Profile images and public-facing surfaces can have stricter rules than private contexts.

Uploads may be screened or held for review. Being uploaded does not guarantee that a photo is visible to every viewer. Read the result shown in the app instead of assuming it has been published.

Sensitive content

Content eligibility, moderation approval, and a viewer’s preference are separate checks. Sensitive-content controls do not permit illegal content, content involving minors, or other prohibited material.

If Sensitive Content is available in your app’s Settings, its control opens the website settings flow. Follow that authenticated flow to manage the choices offered. This article does not announce that every sensitive-photo rollout or public surface is available.

Private albums

Use the Private photo section for private-album content, and review whom you grant access to. Use the app’s album-access controls to revoke access when needed. Do not assume private content is immune to screenshots, copying, or reports.

Problems or concerns

Use profile editing to manage your own photos. Report content that violates the rules. For an incorrect decision, use the review option shown or contact support; do not try to bypass screening.

For data-removal requests beyond the available controls, see privacy requests.
