Chunkr is an adults-only service operated by Homie Lab Inc. Child sexual abuse and exploitation is never allowed on Chunkr. These standards explain how we prevent, identify, report, and act on child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
1. Adults-Only Service
Chunkr is only for adults who are at least 18 years old.
- Minors are not allowed to create accounts or use Chunkr.
- Users must represent that they are at least 18 years old.
- Accounts involving minors, suspected minors, attempts to contact minors sexually, or references to sexual activity involving minors may be removed immediately and escalated.
2. Zero-Tolerance CSAE Standard
Chunkr prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, endangers, or attempts to exploit a child.
Prohibited CSAE activity includes, without limitation:
- child sexual abuse material (CSAM);
- grooming, sextortion, coercion, trafficking, or solicitation involving a minor;
- sexualized comments, roleplay, requests, or fantasies involving minors;
- attempts to move conversations with suspected minors off platform;
- sharing, requesting, threatening to share, or linking to CSAM;
- AI-generated, computer-generated, illustrated, or edited sexual content involving minors; and
- any other content or conduct that sexualizes, exploits, abuses, or endangers children.
3. CSAM Handling
CSAM is prohibited everywhere on Chunkr, including profiles, photos, private albums, messages, reports, and any other user-submitted content.
When we obtain actual knowledge of apparent CSAM or CSAE on Chunkr, we may:
- remove or restrict the content;
- preserve relevant account and safety records where legally appropriate;
- suspend or permanently ban involved accounts;
- report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), law enforcement, or other appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law; and
- cooperate with valid legal process and emergency requests consistent with our Law Enforcement Guidelines.
We do not notify users or provide details where doing so could increase risk, compromise an investigation, expose moderation methods, or violate law.
4. Reporting CSAE or CSAM
Users can report suspected CSAE, CSAM, minors on Chunkr, grooming, exploitation, or other child-safety concerns through the in-app reporting tools on profiles, photos, messages, or other reportable content.
Reports should include as much context as safely possible, such as:
- the reported profile or content;
- screenshots or evidence links, if available in the reporting flow;
- why the user believes a minor or child-safety risk is involved; and
- any immediate safety concern.
For child-safety, legal, platform-abuse, or general support concerns outside the app, contact [email protected]. Include the nature of your concern in the subject line.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
5. Moderation and Enforcement
Chunkr reviews child-safety reports as high-priority safety matters. Depending on severity, evidence, and legal requirements, enforcement may include:
- content removal;
- account restriction;
- temporary suspension;
- permanent ban;
- preservation of relevant records; and
- referral to NCMEC, law enforcement, or other appropriate authorities.
Severe child-safety violations can result in immediate permanent bans without prior warning.
6. Prevention and Safety Controls
Chunkr uses a combination of policy, product controls, moderation workflows, user reports, and safety review to reduce child-safety risk.
These controls may include:
- adults-only eligibility rules;
- profile and content moderation;
- automated safety signals or scanning where appropriate;
- user blocking and reporting tools;
- escalation paths for severe safety issues; and
- audit records for moderation actions.
We continually review these controls as the product, law, and safety risks evolve.
