Terms of Service

Operator: Homie Lab Inc. (“Chunkr,” “we,” “us,” “our”)

  1. Eligibility Must be 18+ and legally able to form a contract. No minors permitted.

  2. Account Rules

  • Provide accurate information.
  • Maintain control of your login credentials.
  • You may not create accounts on behalf of others or use automated tools to access the Service.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

  1. License to Use the Service Personal, non-transferable license to use the app. We retain all intellectual property rights in the Service.

  2. User Content and License Grant You retain ownership of photos, text, and other content you upload. You grant Chunkr a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, host, reproduce, modify for formatting, display, and distribute your content within the Service. This license ends when content is deleted unless required for:

  • legal compliance;
  • safety investigations;
  • backup retention (≤60 days).
  1. Prohibited Conduct
  • Harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination, stalking.
  • Uploading or distributing illegal or non-consensual intimate imagery.
  • Attempting to locate another user’s real-world position beyond the approximate location provided.
  • Commercial solicitation, escorting, or sex work advertising.
  • Impersonation, deception, fraud, catfishing.
  • Underage use.
  • Scraping, data mining, reverse engineering.
  • Circumventing blocks or moderation actions.
  • Posting harmful code or attempting unauthorized access.

  1. Safety and Moderation We may review and act on user reports. We may restrict features, issue warnings, suspend, or permanently ban accounts. We may scan uploaded content for safety reasons. We are not responsible for actions of other users; use caution in meeting or communicating with others.

  2. Approximate Location Features The Service displays an approximate distance and approximate map placement within ≥500 m. You must not attempt to derive exact coordinates or track individuals.

  3. Paid Features Paid subscription features may be added through App Store/Google Play native billing. Terms for subscription renewal, cancellation, and refunds follow platform rules.

  4. Disclaimers Service provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. No guarantee of uninterrupted availability. No responsibility for user content or conduct.

  5. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent allowed by law, liability is capped at the greater of:

  • CAD $100, or
  • amounts paid by you in the preceding 12 months. No liability for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages.
  1. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Governing law: Province of Ontario. Mandatory individual arbitration for all disputes arising from or relating to the Service, except:
  • small-claims court actions,
  • intellectual property claims requiring injunctive relief. Class-action and class-arbitration waivers apply. Users have 30 days from account creation to opt out of arbitration by contacting privacy@chunkr.app.

  1. Termination We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion for violations or risk of harm. You may delete your account at any time; deletion follows the retention rules in the Privacy Policy.

  2. Community Guidelines Separate guidelines form part of these Terms. Violations may result in enforcement actions.

  3. Changes to Terms We may revise these Terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
